Background

Wize.com is a venture capital funded start-up with offices in Minneapolis, MN and San Mateo, CA. It's mission is to help people find the best products fast by aggregating user reviews, expert reviews, and product buzz in one area, like Google for products.

Solution

Based on demographic research and traffic patterns the Wize.com site was designed to be very easy to navigate. The soft curves and warm colors create an inviting feel and white space and background give the products front stage. The primarily XHTML and CSS code base allow for quick render times and easy ongoing search engine optimization. Use of AJAX an CSS hover states add to the experience and also help condense the amount of information presented on the screen, without limiting the user.
