Marshall Field's Website
Background
While Dayton Hudson's was in the process of changing it's name to Marshall
Field's they also decided to update their web presence. The goal of the
redesign was to transition to the new name, but keep the upscale feel that
shoppers expected.
Solution
We used assets from current advertisements, in-store displays, and traditional
elements to closely tie the Website to its physical presence. We limited
the navigation structure and designed the pages to cross merchandise local
arts and charities that helped to achieve a sense of sophistication and
social consciousness.
