Capella University Website
Background
Capella University went through an exhaustive brand analysis during 2004
at which time they decided to redesign their brand to better align with
their goals and their audience. The Capella University website was redesigned
and rearchitected to coincide with the brand launch.
Solution
The website was designed to allow users multiple ways to shop and to address
main questions prospects have about Capella. The main area on the home
page utilizes Flash content to help increase brand awareness and keep the
site fresh. The entire site was re-coded to use XHTML and CSS to increase
the sites download speed, accessibility, and search engine rankings. After
the redesign our natural search hits increased by 78% and our first page
rankings increased by 200%.
