AtomicLiving Logo
Background
The AtomicLiving brand was developed to replace "The Hut" which
had been deemed ineffective during market research. The websites target demographic
was emerging adults we needed brand that would appeal to the independently
minded generation X market.
Solution
The logo and accompanying brand guidelines were developed over a three month
period. The final logo leverages the universality of science by borrowing
from Atomic numbering and molecular structure. The deliberate abstraction
of the shapes helps create a memorable mark, without forcing a meaning
onto the audience. The bold lettering and logo forms ensured flexibility
both on screen and in print applications. Due to the number of applications
a secondary treatment was also developed that ensured flexibility and maintained
the visual integrity of the brand identity.
